The Winchester Police Department says it has found the man believed responsible for a hit-and-run crash that sent a teenager to the hospital.
The man's name has not yet been released, but police say evidence found at the scene helped track him down.
The crash occurred just before 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Thirteen-year-old Tracy Peterson was riding a scooter along Berryville Avenue when he was hit.
He is being treated at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
