The Town of Broadway is one step closer to owning a waste-water treatment plant.
The town placed the winning bid of $2.4 million to purchase the SIL CleanWater facility in Timberville.
SIL was sued by the Virginia Attorney General's Office for not complying with Department of Environmental Quality regulations.
Broadway town manager Kyle O'Brien says the town's next move is to do an engineering study to see what changes need to be made to the plant.
