Virginia Attorney General Bob McDonnell released a five-page letter on Wednesday calling on the government to immediately act on the growing criminal illegal immigration problem in the United States.

McDonnell is looking specifically at illegal immigrants who commit crimes in this country. He says even one crime committed by an illegal alien against a U.S. citizen is one too many.

The Attorney General wants President George Bush, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and a host of other top officials to make this issue a top priority.

In the letter he said: "It is your most fundamental obligation to the citizens of the United States to provide for their safety and security. I request that you do everything possible at the federal level to meet this obligation, including enabling and funding state and local agencies to assist you in your responsibilities."

Excellent initiative! I hope in the letter he included request for funds to pay local police to do all this. So many countries would like to be trained by ICE but cannot afford it. Also I hope he asked for Ice to increased 10 fold. Orange Country here in CA is ground zero for illegals. The police asked for 200 officers to be trained. They got 14. But Bush will resist and probably veto. It appears these rumors about a North American Union agreement signed by Bush, supported by big business, and being kept secret, may have some substance. check out www.stopnorthamericanunion.com. Judical Watch has obtained a Bush gov. doc that says as Americans will resist North American integration, it has to be done secretly, "evolution by stealth." It explains Bush claiming touch enforcment in August while pulling off 1/2 of the border patrol. As ICE deports these violent criminals, they, thanks to Bush, can walk right back in. Supposedly Bush has promisedcompletely open borders by 2010.
