Virginia Attorney General Bob McDonnell launched a Youth Internet Safety contest this week.
Virginia students, grades six through 12, will have six months to write, direct and produce a 30-second TV ad on Internet safety.
The winning ads will air on Virginia television. Other prizes include Xbox 360s, a private film-screening and Fox DVDs.
McDonnell has also unveiled his Internet safety book for Virginia third graders.
"Faux Paw's Adventures in the Internet" teaches students the basic lessons about staying safe online. It will be sent to every public and private elementary school in Virginia.
