Valley Thunderstorm Turns Off the Lights
Staunton, Va. Parts of the Valley saw severe storms brought on by the heat Thursday night, and those storms left some people and businesses without power.

Parts of the Valley saw severe storms brought on by the heat Thursday night, and those storms left some people and businesses without power.
Dominion Power reported 2,500 people in Augusta County were left in the dark.
Staunton police were helping control traffic, as some traffic lights lost power.
Police also received reports of fallen tree limbs.

4 tenths inch rain just east of New Market in about 20 minutes. No power outage.
