The Luray Caverns Airport is getting a federal grant to help pay to remove obstructions near the runway.

The grant is for $177,326.

The airport plans to use the money to buy land next to the runway to remove unnecessary barriers.

The federal grants are going to six other regional airports in Virginia, but the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport in Weyers Cave is not included.
