The Staunton Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying the suspect in a robbery that occured at the Shell station on Churchville Avenue early Friday morning.

The suspect entered the store, pulled out a hand gun, and demanded money from the register. After taking an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer, the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is a black male; approximately 5'10", 220lbs, appearing to be in his mid to late 20's. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black hat, black shirt, and dark blue jeans.
