Bathroom Reopens Along with Federal Government

BRIERY BRANCH, Va. (WHSV) -- "Is everything gonna be shut down because of what's going on in Washington?" asked George Wilson a few weeks ago.

You may remember Wilson, and right now, he's probably feeling especially relieved that the government shutdown is over.

We've introduced you to many of those impacted by the government shutdown, but few have been as memorable as Wilson who was not too happy when he found out the Briery Branch Dam bathroom was closed at George Washington National Forest during the shutdown.

That bathroom is back open, we stopped by Thursday to make sure.

The "closed" sign has been taken down, and the doors open for business.
