Boy Dies from Injuries Suffered in Richmond Fire

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Richmond police say an 18-monthly old boy has died from injuries suffered in a rowhouse fire.

The fire occurred Tuesday morning. Police spokesman James Mercante tells the Richmond Times-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/158fIMs ) that the child died Saturday.

The boy's mother was injured. Their names haven't been released.

Mercante said the fire remains under investigation.
