The Town of Broadway's bump out removal project is now complete.
The project cost about 25,000 dollars and created more parking on Main Street.
The town removed most of the bump outs on Main Street this past month.
They were added six years ago as a safety precaution because they encourage drivers to slow down.
A consultant recommended to the Town of Broadway to remove some of the bump outs.
One Broadway business owner says customers coming into his store have been happy with the changes.
"It seems like there's more parking spots for people to be able to stop and go into stores. A lot of older people, who used to come in, said its so hard to find a place close so they can get out of their car and go in. We are hoping that its really going to make a real improvement on what business is like for the town of Broadway," says Ronald R. Dove, a Broadway business owner.
Dove also thinks that traffic flow will improve through the town with the changes.
