Brownfield Project Presented To Waynesboro City Council

WAYNESBORO, Va -- The Director of Planning for Waynesboro presented the Brownfield Project to the Waynesboro City Council which would involve cleaning up many industrial sites around the city and putting them to good use.

The city has already received a $400,000 grant from EPA to do the project.

We spoke to people who live in Waynesboro who think the plan could eventually help the economy.

"I grew up here all my life and it would be nice to see it be a destination for people to come and bring their families too," says Arty Campbell who lives in Waynesboro.
