HARRISONBURG -- T-shirts and other James Madison University apparel was selling out quickly at local stores.

John Rheault, the JMU bookstore manager, said his store sold more than 1,000 shirts in the last week all to get ready for Wednesday night's big game! JMU alumni made most of the purchases from the bookstore. There's been a major increase from online sales for JMU apparel.

Rheault had to order more victory shirts for the CAA conference four times, but he was not surprised so many people bought shirts to support the Dukes.

"This school has always had an awful lot of school spirit, from the current students all the way to the alumni. You see it in the attendance of their sports to the football games," he said.

Rhealt said it's nice to see all the support for the basketball team, since the Dukes haven't been a part of March Madness in nearly 20 years!
