HARRISONBURG -- College students at James Madison University and Mary Baldwin College got to learn more about U.S. history Wednesday. A bus with C-SPAN stopped by the campuses to show off a new exhibit.

The bus is on a nationwide tour to college campuses. Dozens of students enjoyed the interactive games and videos on the bus. It's a part of C-SPAN's series on first ladies.

One student said the series makes her want to learn more about first ladies.

“I was just interested to see what it was all about,” said Olivia Samerdyke, a junior at MBC, “I'm not all that familiar with C-SPAN, but I heard about their first lady series, so I wanted to check it out. It looks really interesting. I'll definitely have to tune in and watch it.

The bus stopped at JMU Wednesday morning and its next stop is in Roanoke.
