SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office needs your help.

Be on the lookout for two unlicensed solicitors who are targeting the elderly.

They have struck New Market, Fort Valley and Mount Jackson.

Deputies said once they are at your door they ask to come in and when you're distracted, they steal prescription pills, money and other valuables.

Deputies arrested James Sausman, Mark Smith and Donna Minch Wednesday for soliciting without a license.

In Shenandoah County, you need a permit if you want to solicit.

The sheriff's office said it is still looking for other suspects in the robberies.

The sheriff recommends you to not let anyone into your home you don't know.

You also should check for a solicitor's permit before talking to them.

If you notice anything like this happening in your area, you can contact the sheriff's office.
