Edinburg Woman Killed in Accident

SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. -- Virginia State Police have released the name of a woman killed in an accident in Shenandoah County.

It happened on Alum Springs Road about a half mile north of Crooked Run Road.

State police say 75-year-old Joyce Elaine Miller from Edinburg was killed when the SUV she was driving went off the left side of the road, hit a bank, and rolled onto the passenger side around 4:10 Friday afternoon.

Police say she was wearing her seat belt, and the cause of that crash is still being investigated.
