Harrisonburg, Va. (WHSV) Traman Turner was found dead outside a home on Commerce Drive on Christmas Eve. Police say the murder suspect, Delano Fitz, is still on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous.

Christmas lights are still up in the neighborhood, where Turner, 27, was shot and killed on Christmas Eve.

For his son, Shawn Williams, what he will remember about this Christmas is seeing his father's body on the ground laying in blood, the day before. He still remembers the fond memories the two shared.

"We played football, we played Black Ops, we played football on the games. We do a lot of stuff together," said Williams.

He says lately he can hardly sleep at night.

Turner, a father of three boys, is known in the community for being a family man.

"He was a very hard working man, took care of his kids, very good father," said Veronica Phillips, who lives near the area where Turner was shot.

Police are now looking for the man the mother of Turner's children says is her ex-boyfriend. The murder suspect, Delano Fitz, is wanted on first-degree murder and gun charges. Neighbors said police continued their investigation on Friday, when they pulled a bullet out of a nearby door and left parts of the roof on the ground.

They also tell WHSV that the area where Turner's body was laying was left bloody on Christmas day. The area was cleaned by a friend on Thursday. Children in the neighborhood say with the murder suspect still on the loose, they are living in fear.

"It's sad to see somebody die right in your neighborhood," said Devontay Phillips, who lives in the neighborhood where Turner was shot.

Neighbors believe the suspect may look different from the picture being circulated. They say his hair may be a little longer.
