WAYNESBORO -- A former mayor's dog was declared dangerous on Thursday.

Frank Lucente, the former mayor of Waynesboro, was in court on Thursday appealing a judge's decision to declare his dog dangerous. A jury upheld the decision and Lucente's dog is still considered dangerous.

Lucente's dog bit someone on Memorial Day in 2012.
