STEPHENTOWN, N.Y. (AP) -- State police say a Virginia man is dead after his minivan crashed head-on into an SUV in eastern Rensselaer County, sending three people in the other vehicle to Massachusetts hospitals.

Police say 45-year-old Kevin H. Jensen of Grottoes, Va., was driving a white 2000 Plymouth Voyager on Route 22 in Stephentown Sunday afternoon when he crossed the center line and collided with a gray 2011 Lexus SUV. Jensen was pronounced dead at the scene.
