Thousands of James Madison University alumnae and alumni came back to campus for homecoming weekend.

Capital Ale House shared how all those visitors boosted sales.

To prepare for more people, Capital Ale House had more managers and staff working.

General Manager Adam Benneis said they've seen a large increase in business with families coming into town.

A few thousand people came to the restaurant as part of the homecoming rush.

"[Alumnae] and [alumni] coming into town, you know living up their previous college days which has been great for us. People want to come to town... to eat to have a few cocktails," said Benneis.

Benneis said the win also had more people coming this year.

Last year, the crowd was smaller.
