Local Ron Paul Supporters Hopeful for Super Tuesday Primary

Local supporters of Ron Paul rallied in the streets of Harrisonburg Monday afternoon.

They were out to make the Texas congressman a winner in Virginia. With Super Tuesday in just a few weeks, local Ron Paul supporters want all the votes they can get.

A group of about twenty gathered Monday afternoon in Downtown Harrisonburg from all over the Valley. Many of them are college students, but others just took time off for the cause.

They expect to be out several more times between now and Super Tuesday.

"The reason we're doing this is to raise awareness about Ron Paul. It is just him and Mitt Romney on the ballot here in Virginia, so we have a real good chance of winning," said Ron Paul supporter Robby Richards.

Those in the rally say Ron Paul has a great chance to win Virginia, and they want to give him all the help he can get on the national stage.
