A neighbor of a Wednesday evening fatal accident victim says she and her husband have tried for years to get more speed limit signs posted on Route 250, heading towards Waynesboro.

The deadly crash was near a school zone, and neighbors say it's an area where many drivers speed.

Neighbor Kate Remcho says, "It's very upsetting to me because my grandchildren, my daughter, and my son-in-law every morning watch the school buses pull out here. It's risky business. Sometimes you have to look, do the best you can, and just gun it."

An elderly driver was killed in 2006, after crashing into an SUV that was turning onto Route 250, near the site of Wednesday's crash.
