WAYNESBORO, Va. -- Police are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that happened late Wednesday night.
Police say a 30-year-old Waynesboro man was taken to the hospital after he was shot in the leg. He was later arrested for a warrant for failing to appear in court in Amherst County.
The victim called police two-and-a-half hours after he was shot. He said it happened at Patches Trailer Court on East Main Street.
