The students at Mary Baldwin College are continuing their efforts with the Red Flag Campaign to raise awareness and prevent dating violence.
The campaign focuses on abuse on college campuses.
Posters are being spread throughout the campus encouraging students to speak up when they are witnessing warning signs in a violent relationship.
Nichole Burchett, a student organizer, stresses the importance of awareness.
Burchett says, "It's not just a relationship issue, it's many things."
Thursday’s event is just a precursor to events throughout April and May.
