The Rockingham County School Board is working hard to create a better workplace for its employees.

In a district survey, most employees say they want more respect and trust.

School board members met Monday night to discuss ways to address those issues.

Right now they plan to have a committee to meet with the superintendent every month to talk about what needs to change.

The school board has also proposed a 2% salary increase for all employees. That all depends on how the budget works out this year.
