Sheriff Releases Suspect Photo from Dry River Store Shooting

The Rockingham County Sheriff has released a surveillance image of a suspect wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting at Dry River Store.

Rockingham County, Va. (WHSV) -- UPDATE 4:45 P.M. -- Rockingham County Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson says they will be releasing more pictures of the suspect. Officers finished the on scene investigation at the Dry River store at about 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

Sheriff Hutcheson confirms something was taken from the store, but will not release further details.

The official cause of death for the store owner's wife, Eun Kim, is expected in a couple of days. Currently, a medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death.

UPDATE 2:45 p.m. --

The University of Virginia Medical Center is not releasing Jae Young Kim's condition at this time. Kim, the Dry River Store owner, is currently at the hospital, after the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office says a shooting occurred at the convenience store on Saturday night. Kim's wife Eun Kim was shot and killed.

Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson says a major priority right now is finding the suspect currently on the run.

The Rockingham County Sheriff has released a surveillance image of a suspect wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting at Dry River Store.

The sheriff says this is an ongoing homicide investigation and that the incident happened around 5:30 p.m., Saturday.

Investigators are in the process of enhancing the image and other images and will release them once that has been completed, but this is the best one we have at this time.

It is possible that the individual left the area in a late model, dark-colored Toyota four-door sedan.

An anonymous citizen is offering a $5,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
