HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- People who live along Tower Street were prepared to be without water Thursday, but it turns out they didn't have much to worry about.
Crews working on the new Department of Public Transportation building needed to relocate a water line and told neighbors living along the street they would need to be prepared to be without water from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Luckily for neighbors, it turned out the workers were able to relocate the pipe without cutting off water to the neighborhood.
Construction for the new building is expected to be done by April 2014.
