A Norfolk beach has reopened and swimming advisories have been lifted at two Newport News beaches.
The Virginian-Pilot (http://bit.ly/mPqSjo ) reports that water samples taken by health officials show bacteria levels at all three beaches now meet state standards.
Earlier this week, health officials closed the beach at Sarah Constant Park in Norfolk and advised the public not to swim at Anderson and King Lincoln Park beaches in Newport News because of high bacteria levels.
