STUARTS DRAFT, Va. -- It's the perfect time to do some spring cleaning. The Valley Mission encouraged people in the Valley to do just that.

The Finley Memorial Church in Stuarts Draft housed the Valley Mission's truck and accepted any donations. The goal was to get as many items for the 52 homeless people who are living at the Valley Mission in Staunton.

Margret Robison donated so much she made two separate trips. She said she has accumulated so much stuff. Particularly books.

"What do you do with books? You can either take them to the library and they sell them or give them away or it's just really nice to bring them here," said Robison.

Around 2p.m. the truck was nearly and accepted donations from 20 different people.
