If you use a smartphone for work, or even to watch movies or download music, you will be able to do all that and more at a much faster speed.
The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network is now available to more than 75 percent of the country, including Harrisonburg, Waynesboro and Augusta County.
James Vance, who is the store manager for Verizon Wireless in Harrisonburg, said the industry standard for years was 3G, but things are moving to a much faster network.
He said the biggest thing people will notice with 4G LTE is the music.
You can now download a full album in less than a minute, when you could have been waiting around for an hour before.
You can also upload pictures and video to Facebook in seconds, when it would have taken minutes.
Email and websites also load in seconds.
Vance said another thing to look forward to is Home Fusion, which will give people internet service at a much faster speed.
"A lot of areas out here don't cater to high speed internet, so people were working with satellite or with dial-up out in the county. Now, they can use the speed of 4G LTE to get high speed internet access at home without having to worry about getting a home line or anything like that," said Vance.
