A Tennesse police department arrested a man wanted by the Waynesboro, Staunton and Harrisonburg Police Departments since October 2012.
On Friday, Joseph Tyrone Hunter, was arrested in Morristown, Tenn, which is near Knoxville, Tenn.
The Waynesboro Police Department received a tip from Crime Stoppers and then provided that information to the Morristown Police Department, which led to an arrest.
Hunter is being held without bond in Tennessee, pending an extradition hearing.
Hunter, 41, Waynesboro, was wanted on six charges from the Waynesboro Police Department, which included: two felony counts of forgery/uttering, one felony county of grand larcent, one felony count of obtaining money by false pretenses, one felony count of receiving stolen property and one felony count of failing to appear in court; from the Staunton Police Department on three charges, which included: one felony county of forgery/uttering and two felony counts of grand larceny; and from the Harrisonburg Police Department on one felony count of grand larceny.
Hunter was featured twice on the Valley's Fox 10 o'clock news' Wheel of Justice segment.
