Wanted Waynesboro Man Turns Himself into Police

A wanted Waynesboro man, turns himself into Rockingham County Sheriff's office Saturday.

19-year-old Michael Paul Bennett was wanted on several felonies for fraud. In August, Bennett went on a check cashing spree, in which he passed several bogus checks. He was able to get nearly $2,500. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office also holds a misdemeanor capias for failure to appear for a DUI charge for Bennett.

Bennett is at the Rockingham Regional Jail without bond.
