Work is almost complete on a $1.5 million water and sewer renovation project at Woodrow Wilson Rehab Center.

Many prestigious members of the community, including Senator Emmett Hanger, came out to tour the facility and check out the progress on the new water and sewer lines.

Senator Hanger says he's pleased with the progress as he was a key figure in helping to secure funding for the million dollar project.

"I'm very pleased that it is progressing very much on schedule. Actually a bit ahead of schedule I think, and the funding is in place to complete the project that will allow us then to continue to improve this site for the services which are provided."

The rehab center hopes to get work completed on the new line by the end of this year.
