Businesses in Waynesboro are preparing for the possibility of heavy rains.
During hurricane Isabel, Music City in Waynesboro saw close to four feet of water in the store due to heavy rainfall causing flooding.
Store managers say if Hanna brings heavy rain, they have trucks on standby to haul off the expensive guitars, drums, and other collectibles.
They also say the city has made some helpful changes to prevent flooding.
Store manager Steven Williams says, "The city engineers widening the rivers has helped out. The new sewage drains out here on the corner of Arch and Main have really helped to drain out the excess water."
Williams says hauling all of the equipment into trucks is a huge task. He says it's the only way to save thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from being damaged by flood waters.
