Layman, Diener, and Borntrager Insurance Agency is Harrisonburg’s largest locally-owned insurance agency serving the Shenandoah Valley with a wide selection of insurance products that enable local businesses to grow, and offer valley residents peace of mind. |
| L D and B traces its valley roots all the way back to 1952, as the Layman Insurance Agency. Over the years, L D and B has grown along with the community. Layman Insurance and Diener and Borntrager Insurance merged in 1992, creating Layman, Diener, and Borntrager Insurance, a full service agency. Since then, the L D and B family has grown, and now includes Estes Insurance, ShenValley Insurance, and a partnership with Park View Federal Credit Union. And recently, L D and B and Showalter Insurance, two of the most trusted local names in insurance, joined forces to better serve the community. And just like Showalter Insurance, L D and B is dedicated to the customer care that only a hometown agency could provide.
|
Together, L D and B and Showalter Insurance will carry on their tradition of enabling Valley businesses and families to grow and prosper, while continuing to support the local charities, civic organizations, and youth programs that enrich the lives of all valley residents. The secret to their success is the dedication and expertise of their employees. The staff at L D and B cares about the local community because they are a part of it. They are committed to providing the best possible service, and continually developing relationships with their clients based on fairness and trust. As the Valley continues to experience tremendous growth, L D and B will be there to protect and enhance that prosperity with honesty, integrity, and excellence. |
