Fourth and fifth graders from John Wayland Elementary School launched an art exhibit at Bridgewater College on Friday.

Students took photographs and then decorated them up with collage techniques. The final product was a self-portrait that described each student's unique personality and history.

"It's really special because I got this necklace after my grandma died," says Sarah Degraffenreid, as student at John Wayland. "It's really special because she was a really nice grandma and she loved everybody."

The art work will be on display in the Cleo Driver Miller Gallery at Bridgewater College until mid-August.
