Page County recently opened two brand new high schools.
The new Page County High and Luray High schools were dedicated in separate ceremonies.
Luray High School will hold 525 students, while Page County High will have 600 students. Both schools will operate on a block schedule format.
Randy Bailey, chairman for Page County School Board, says, "It will provide opportunities within grades and disciplines for students, give them better educational opportunities for the work force that we have today."
Students in Page County won't head back to class until September 8.
