The Christmas season is right around the corner, and some little helpers in the Valley are already getting in the spirit.
On Monday, a group of pre-schoolers painted some of the 300 bags the elementary school art classes are decorating for the "Be a Santa to a Senior" program.
After decorating, the bags will be filled and delivered to senior citizens in the Valley.
"This is a wonderful project, art project, to bring to the community. And for our students to really connect outside of the school and realize that art can help other people. Maybe give them a smile on their face," says Nilda Jolloff, an art teacher at Riverheads Elementary School.
Jolloff is asking for additional bags to decorate next year so she can also host a decorating session for the faculty.
