More information from the alleged embezzlement of funds from Robert E Lee High School was released Friday afternoon.
Staunton Schools Superintendent Dr. Steve Nichols held a press conference to announce two major updates from the investigation.
R.E. Lee Principal Dr. Mark Rowicki was put on leave one week ago. He will be reinstated on Monday, Nov. 7.
Nichols said he made the decision after meeting with the entire school board.
Another faculty member, R.E. Lee Athletic Director Kaye Roberts, is possibly facing dismissal.
The school board began filing grievance proceedings against her, which means the superintendent recommended dismal or suspension without pay to the school board.
Roberts is currently on paid leave.
