Elkton's 9/11 Memorial
A lot of that pride was shown in Elkton Sunday as people gathered at the town's 9/11 memorial. Elkton's memorial however represents more than just those who died that day.

    It is so good to see some recognition,of our pullic servants.I enlisted in the Air force in feb. 1952,Was released in 56,discharged in 1960.Just friends &family knew I was gone ,Same when I returned.I fought foeest fires in Rock.& Page county for 30 yrs.Along beside many vol. fire fighters,Never A thank thank you.Since 911 .I can wear A military cap,Or some ensigna,Strangers will come up & ask when You served & thank you for your service .This never happened before 911.
