It's been 10 years since one September day was seared into our hearts.
September 11th is not only a day to remember, but a moment in time that changed the face of the United States of America.
As the 10th anniversary approaches, WHSV wants to share your memories, experiences and thoughts with the rest of the Valley.
This day carries meanings to people across the country.
To many it is a day of remembrance and to others a day of grief, but to all Americans, it's the day that a country put all else aside and stood together as one.
We want you to tell us your story. Where were you when the planes hit the Twin Towers? How were you affected? What does the day mean to you?
Send us your pictures, images, letters and any other items that signify the day to you. Each memento, memory, or moment is unique.
Share them with us so we can share them with the Valley, too.
Please submit your story to email@example.com and it will appear on our Sept. 11 web page.
