ELKTON, Va. – Every now and then in Year 4, East Rockingham is still going to have a first. Last year they checked off a few more first time accomplishments, including their first winning season and first playoff win. In 2013, their first flock of home grown seniors will take the field.

Head coach Donnie Coleman says his team is deeper, returns more starters and will be his most experienced team yet. Offensively and defensively the Eagles return about 7-8 starters, and after four years of the same system at East Rockingham, this team is all in.

On offense East Rock will stick with the Wing-T, with a little spread mixed in. Defensively the Eagles will primarily run a 5-3 base formation.

After 8 wins in their third year, this group of seniors is hungry to leave their own legacy and raise the bar again for the future of this program.
