FRANKLIN, WV – The past two seasons haven't gone as planned at Pendleton County, with the Wildcats missing out on the postseason both times, and combining for just 4 wins in head coach Rod Cooper's tenure.

2013, year three of Cooper's time as coach, is when the Wildcats will turn things around. Pendleton County will be full of young talent, and it will be a learning experience for several starters. This senior class though is intent on finding a way to post a winning record, and make it back to the playoffs.

Defensively look for Pendleton County to rely on the 5-3, while on offense they'll mix things up with multiple spread formations. They'll have to replace starting quarterback Daniel Hevener, but plenty of players for the Wildcats are used to winning, even though they're young. It's also another group of hard working Wildcats, intent on building for the future.
