Winning A New Tradition At Wilson

FISHERSVILLE, Va. – The past two football seasons at Wilson Memorial have been the most successful in school history. Two straight trips to the state final four, and a combined 23 wins have established a new tradition for the Green Hornets: winning.

After their first outright district title since the 1978, Wilson will be missing several key contributors from last year's squad. 4 starters return on offense, 5 on defense, but only a handful of players are in the same position as a year ago. The good news for this younger team is that they won't play on the road until Week 6 at Stonewall Jackson.

Offensively the Green Hornets will base out of a double wing formation and defensively, they'll primarily run a 4-3.
