Mark Ellis hit the first walk-off home run of his career to give Oakland a 6-5 win over Baltimore in ten innings.

Ellis' shot off of Orioles reliever Lance Cormier struck the left-field foul pole to give the Athletics their fourth straight win and a three-game sweep over Baltimore.

Melvin Mora gave Baltimore the lead with a go-ahead double in the eighth inning but pinch-hitter Frank Thomas got the Athletics even with an RBI ground out in the bottom of the inning.

Kurt Suzuki has a two-run homer for Oakland, while Brian Roberts knocked in a pair of runs for Baltimore.

The Orioles have lost seven of their last eight games.
