20-Yard Dash: Broadway Gobblers

The Broadway Gobblers are coming off a disappointing season, but despite a 3-7 finish last year, the coaches and players don't feel like they're far away from big-time success.

Just two years removed from a 12-1 season, the Gobblers know it's the little things that will make the difference for Broadway this year.

"More crisp, more energy," said senior corner Tyler Williams. "We try to push harder every day than we have ever because we don't want to be 3-7 again. Our goal is to win a state championship, and that's what we gotta think about everyday. When we wake up, when we come to practice, what our goals are."

"This year is just continuing to build on last year," said Head Coach Brad Lutz. "We had some success although the season and the record didn't reflect it. This year, with an older group, taking the next step and letting these guys have some more success."
