The Buffalo Gap Bison only won two games last season but played a lot of young guys that developed a powerful thirst for success during the struggles.
At preseason practice this year, the Bison are saying enough is enough. It's time for buffalo gap to get back to it's winning ways, and it's the team's experienced young players that will get them there.
"We haven't won many football games in our couple of years that we've been here," said Buffalo Gap senior receiver Trevor Chittum. "We're ready to win, and we've put in the work to win."
"We know what it's like to lose. We don't like it at all," said junior running back Tristan Anderson. "We plan on winning some this season. We put that behind us. That was last year. This is this year. We're ready to go. Working hard out here. 2-8 not very good, we hated that."
"These kids, they want to be winners," said Bison coach Andy Cline. "They've done the things to learn to be that way. These kids, they're great kids. They've earned this. They're gonna be winners."
