LURAY (WHSV) -- The Bulldogs have been moving in a positive direction over the last few years. Luray has made the postseason in each of the last two seasons, and the goal in 2014 is to take it one step farther and host a playoff game.
The seniors admit that stepping into a leadership role was a work in progress. But head coach Travis Osbourne is confident he has a strong group of 12 seniors.
"Most of the guys have been together for a long time,” Osbourne said. “The trust issue is not the thing but a lot of it is figuring out where everybody fits into the puzzle. And then accepting your role.”
Osbourne says his seniors have been through the school of hard knocks, starting from the bottom with just one victory in their freshman year, Now the hope is that the hard work pays off.
"Honestly I never really expected it, but we've gotten a lot stronger and faster,” senior quarterback Tyler Campbell said.
