Stonewall Jackson will have a different look in 2008. Coach Dick Krol and the Generals saw 11 seniors graduate last year, nine of whom were full-time starters.

Krol says, "We have a few skilled people back, but right now we have only one starting lineman back from last year, which puts us in a bind. But, we have a lot more kids out this year, so they're going to have to step up and do their thing."

The Generals do have one thing in their favor coming in: post-season experience. In fact, Stonewall has made five consecutive trips to the second season, so young or not, this is a team that can't be taken lightly.

"The only thing we ever said since the day we got here, many years ago, is we wanted when the game was over, is people to know they have been in a football game," says Krol. "We didn't want to become a weak sister, for people to respect us as players, and I think we've proven that point."
