It's been 13 years since Page County has put together a winning season, but second-year head coach Frank Comer wants to change that.

Comer says, "We instituted an off-season program, and we laid out some guidelines and expectations on what we thought it would take in order to turn around this program. The kids bought into it to the point where I kept seeing the faces I needed to see."

The Panthers expectations for 2008 are nowhere near their 3-7 record from last season.

"I will not be happy anywhere below 500. I'm expecting us to go over the top this year. These kids have worked extremely hard, their mindset is different," says Comer. "We're winners working for a championship here at Page. We've put our mind that this attitude of complacency is going to be changed in the program."
