Finishing 1-9 is certainly not what head coach Travis Osborne and Luray wanted last season. However, quarterback Will Logan and wide out Johnny Vanwyck return for the Bulldogs in 2008.

Osborne says, "Willie and Johnny both are going to be carrying a lot of weight on their shoulders as far as the offense is concerned for us to be successful. Willie is going to have to deliver the mail."

Ultimately, Osborne hopes his team can deliver a winning season. Luray will try to make some noise in a very tough Shenandoah district.

"If we got some people that will do the things we need them to do and can execute the way we need them to execute, we can be competitive with the teams in our league, and we've proven we can do that," says Osborne. "Towards the end of the season we were playing some really good football."
